What information we collect from you
When you register for a YTBS-powered promotion, we ask for your email address, date of birth, zip code, gender, and, in certain cases, other information requested by the promotion sponsor. Occasionally, YTBS and its promotional sponsor(s) conduct user surveys. All information provided by users in such user surveys is completely optional.
For all YTBS visitors — not just registered users — we collect IP addresses, browser type, access times, duration of visit, referring URL, platform, new/repeat information, time-stamp and exit page information. This data is gathered for statistical purposes so that we may analyze trends and performance over time.
How your information is used
The data we gather is used to create and enhance your customized user profile and keep you up-to-date on new promotional offers and incentives from our promotion sponsor(s).
How your information is protected
YTBS maintains practices and procedures that are designed to ensure the security, integrity and confidentiality of customer information. When you provide information to YTBS, you are doing so in a safe and secure environment. Information entered into our server is entered through Secure Sockets Layers (SSL), which create a protected connection between users and our web server. Current Internet security methods and technologies are used to prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy and ensure correct use of information. These safeguards are expressly implemented for the purpose of protecting your information.
With whom your information may be shared
All information and data collected through this promotion is owned by and sent to the promotion sponsor(s). We NEVER share any personally identifiable information about specific individuals with any third party. When you make a purchase through YTBS directly, the personal and billing information you provide will be shared with the appropriate third party in order to ensure the completion of your purchase. This includes any vendor or order fulfillment partner, as well as any third parties responsible for facilitating the transaction (e.g., credit card authorization company). The personal information provided to the third parties will not be used for any purpose other than the completion of your transaction.
YTBS may be required by law to disclose certain information. YTBS may also disclose information against someone who poses a threat to YTBS's interests (e.g., customer fraud) or whose activities could bring harm to others.
Email communication you choose to receive from us
If you opt-in to receive communications from us or our partners, you will be kept informed about special promotions and incentives from the promotion sponsor(s).
With the exception of emails confirming registration and any winner notification, YTBS will not send you any emails unless you elect to receive communications from us. If you are no longer interested in receiving communications in the program in which you are participating, you have several choices for opting out of future mailings:

How to access and control your account information
If you wish to update, correct or access any pertinent personally identifiable information that you provided to YTBS through the registration process (such as email address, zip code and date of birth), you can make the changes by accessing the "edit account" screen located as a link within the promotional website.

Cookies
A cookie is a unique identifier sent to your computer by a Web server and stored on your hard drive. This authenticated tag lets a server identify you. At YTBS, we only use cookies to maintain your session when you are logged into a YTBS-powered promotion. In addition we may use cookies to prevent participation by people under age 13, and in some cases under age 18. No other Personally Identifiable Information is stored on these cookies. The cookie assigns you with a session identification number so our system knows you are logged onto the YTBS server. The session identification number is the only piece of information stored in and used by YTBS. YTBS currently does not store personal information in the cookie.
Sweepstakes
YTBS may occasionally offer site visitors an opportunity to participate in a survey, contest or sweepstakes. Information collected by YTBS for such a survey, contest or sweepstakes will be subject to the same protection as the information YTBS collects from its users generally. The first name, city and state of residence for sweepstakes winners will be available to participants of a given program via write-in request and in some cases via the promotion website.
Mergers/Acquisitions
In the event that YTBS or substantially all of YTBS's assets are acquired by a third party, customer information may be transferred to YTBS's successor company. In the event such a transfer occurs, the transferred information will be subject to the same protection as it was prior to the transfer.
Children
YTBS is committed to protecting your child's online privacy and takes this issue very seriously. We have established strict privacy practices and procedures that are in compliance with the Federal Trade Commission's Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
Notification of Changes
If we intend to use any personally identifiable information in a manner different than what is stated at the time of data collection, we will notify you via email. You will have a choice as to whether or not to allow us to use your information. In addition, if we make any material changes in our privacy practices that do not affect user information already stored in our database, we will post a prominent notice on our website advising users of the change. In some cases, we may also email users who have opted to receive communications from us, informing them of the changes to our privacy practices.
